Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, stated that Iraq cannot be run by a president with unknown fate.

While responding to a question over forming a delegation to visit the President, Jalal Talabani, at the hospital in Germany, he said “Forming the delegation is to ensure Talabani’s heath condition where Iraq cannot be run by a president with unknown fate.”

“The replacement of the President is in the hand of the Iraqi People if we really have democracy in Iraq,” al-Sadr added, wishing good health for the President Talabani.
