I am not Okie ... but here is my take on the article:
Please take note of the preface to the paragraph ..."In the longer term" [my emphasis] ... it tells you eventually the LOP will go into effect. Nowhere in the article does it say a LOP will happen first! Keep the faith! IMO ... This is a good news article that you should enjoy as it means that things are moving along in the right direction.
" ...In the longer term, Saleh said a redenomination is needed wherein three zeros will be dropped so that the 25,000 Iraqi-dinar banknote -- currently the largest denomination -- becomes a 25-dinar note. ..."
