The question of ISX - we have been here before

 Ok, the whole ISX going international has been brought up in the past.  And whether or not it has ANYTHING to do with the RV is still inconclusive.  Below is a post I found from another site from 2011.  Why do I have such an overwhelming sense of deja vu?  I have just lost all hope for tomorrow being the day. :(

ISX going international?



On other forums they keep saying the ISX is going international, what does going international mean?
I know foreigners can already buy stock through an Iraqi broker (if they jump through hoops first), but does it mean, (after going international) that stock brokers in other countries can buy and sell for their foreign clients?
Isn't the ISX already international?
They also claim the ISX can't go international at the 1170 rate because all the stock will be bought up. Isn't that the idea?
If the rich investor wanted to buy up all the stock, couldn't they just do what many of us have done and register with the ISX to trade?

Does anyone think there is anything to this Going International talk, or just a rumor with no knowledge of how the ISX works?

Sorry I meant to type 2011 not 2006... I edited it to reflect that..... Now, if I recall corretly, they DID go LIVE in 2011 but not INTERNATIONAL.

HEY DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFOWHEN THE ISX IS SUPPOSE TO TO GO INTERNATIONAL. I THOUGHT IT WAS SCHEDULED FOR OCT 15TH?

I have to agree. Value of the currency has zip to do with it. The VND for example, is fully tradable, yet it's value is about 22K/usd they also have a stock exchange that is internationally tradeable ....
