Interesting Facts....

Some fascinating stuff, some not so much, and a few I question, but still interesting ... The one about JP Morgan is true, but the rest of the story is interesting. He agreed with another party to supply the UST with 3.5 million ounces of gold during the panic of 1893 when the was a run on gold. In exchange they received a 30 year bond issue, so perhaps not a true bailout since the principles turned a tidy profit. It kept the treasury afloat, but ultimately was key in William McKinley defeating Grover Cleveland in 1896. OH, the other party in the bailout? ... The conspiracy theorists will have a ball with this one ... the Rothchilds. Yea, those evil banker guy types ...

I wonder on the deep storage project, if it is to bring people and endanger species back to life, who is going to go get it?
We will see many examples similar to the homeless person story when/if we ever get this stupid RV. When people can't follow simple instructions like "don't call the banks", or they continually venerate gurus who are never right about anything, it is quite likely they will soon be broke.
I can't remember who said it, but it was once said that if you divided all the money in the world equally, in 5 years the people who have it now would have it all back

I can relate to the story about the homeless man...if dinar investors are suddenly pleasantly surprised with a dramatic increase in the value of the currency,I'm sure some will end up right back where they are today after just blowing it...
I do not agree though with the "guru instruction" of "do not call the banks".
Calling the banks has absolutely zero chance of effecting the RV...zero.

I did not mean to imply that calling the banks would effect the RV and I think most of the gurus have left that behind them. It doesn't effect the RV, but it does irritate the crap out of bank personnel who have to answer the phone and tell these people "NO, we do not deal with the IQD and never will" as they have been instructed to say. Those people have work to do and don't need to be called about every rumor.

I just remember something that shows "percussive maintenance" actually works. I was watching some type of TV thing on gardening and someone had a fruit tree that wasn't giving any fruit. The expert was asked what could they do to make it give fruit. I remember mumbling some wise-azz comment about beating it with a stick and the next thing you know the guy brings out a baseball bat and says to give a few good raps on the trunk. He says the tree will react as if it were going to be destroyed and will then produce fruit. Maybe I am a tree guru.

Hahahahah catman that's an awesome story I might try that lol!
