Today's the day for RV, isn't it?

"Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition" is an American patriotic song written by Frank Loesser and published as sheet music in 1942 by Famous Music Corp. The song was a response to the attack on Pearl Harbor that marked United States involvement in World War II.

The song describes a chaplain
("sky pilot") being with some fighting men who are under attack from an
enemy. He is asked to say a prayer for the men who were engaged in
firing at the oncoming planes. The chaplain puts down his Bible, mans
one of the ship's gun turrets and begins firing back, saying, "Praise
the Lord and pass the ammunition".

I started a new job on July 12th and barely get time off. It is exhausting!!! :shock:
I put in some requests for time off-even parts of the week-ends-so I can kind of have a life, especially before summer is over. They are hiring some more people and the plan is to not have us all doing six nights in a row (I just did seven!) Sleep

If you work for very nice and understanding people,then that's half the battle- Take all the hours you can get, because you never know what the rest of the year will bring, but you do need some time off to yourself- I'm glad that you found something good, and worthwhile to be able to catch up on things!! Very Happy

Just when I think my new work is exhausting and VERY HOT!!!...I read this!!! It could always be worse right?! I am glad I have a job and money again but I have never worked this hard (physically) ever...COME ON RV~!

Yes Catherine,but look at all the fine food that you have access to- You'd never go hungry, and by the way, there is no shame or anything wrong with working at a restaurant-If you ask me, that is a very respectable job!! In High School, I worked at a restaurant, and it was called 'The Pilot's Grille'-Aptly named because the Bangor International Airport was only 1 mile away- Smile
