Baghdad (news) .. The member of the Economic Commission for MP / National Alliance / Salman al-Moussawi, the process of deleting the zeros and the process of replacing the national currency is not important, pointing out that the deletion of zeros from the national currency to be the beginning (2013) would be counterproductive in the Iraqi market.
Moussawi said (of the Agency news) said on Tuesday: The deletion of zeros in the atmosphere is unstable to the Iraqi dinar exchange rate process do not matter either occurred in the current year or next year, indicating the following: that Iraq does not need to replace the Iraqi currency scheduled for the coming year as far as is the need to stabilize the volatility in winning Iraqi dinar exchange rate against the dollar.
Al-Moussawi said: Alosvarmn that the deletion of the national currency to be in the early years (2013) would be counterproductive in the Iraqi market and affects the process of demand and supply imbalance which causes the great result to the instability of the dinar exchange rate and the lack of demand for the U.S. dollar.
He pointed out: that the current currency exchange good and do not require replacement of the symbols, size, or color, when substitutes are reflected negatively on the Iraqi citizen, the simple lack of culture of cash and will need a long time to know the full groups of cash / End / 21. A. P /

Well there have been naysayers all along. I have to wonder if this is not a part of the CBI--Economic Committee power struggle.
