i have heard that there was 168 currencies that are in the rv basket . does anyone know what the currencies are

I was informed by a guru earlier this week that VND might even revalue 2 to 3 weeks after the Dinar...but WHO...WHO really knows?

I believe that you can find the 168 currencies in the basket at the UN Operational Rate of Exchange website, but you need to click on the toggle button for changes since 8/1/11. Rates of exchange have nothing to do with countries revaluing currency. Its for internal book keeping only. They are generally published AFTER a rate change in a country, no indication of anything before.

No warranty of accuracy can be given and the United Nations shall not assume any responsibility in connection with the present publication of these rates. Generally, the rates are updated monthly, based on market conditions. Adjustments are also made following official government devaluations or revaluations.
