I will say this, though WF might be the clearing house for this event, I doubt I will be doing biz with them for the RV. I was a WF customer for over 20 years, with checking, savings & mortgage accounts with them. Though I never had any "trouble" with them, we went elsewhere due to their escalating fees & charges, in contrast to what other banks were offering. IMHO they got greedy. We closed our accounts with them over four years ago and went elsewhere. YMMV.

have been with Wells Fargo for many years..always helpful..my friend id a branch manger..they don't really give any info just yet...every bank has pros and cons...

Wells Fargo is a con- Just like Wachovia- Pretty bad when they charge you $5.00 to cash your paycheck through your own account-They'll never have my business again-NEVER-Crooks, I tell ya, CROOKS! Twisted Evil

That is exactly my point, terbo56. I was an administrator at a local church, and our church used WF. Of course, my payroll check was from WF. And yes, they wanted to charge $5.00 to cash a check drawn from a WF acct because I was not one of their customers... unless I opened a new acct with them. I dealt with this bank and branch weekly for church business, btw. Of course I had an acct with another bank, but this was for the sake of convenience one day. Nope, "pay five dollars. please".

I cheerfully told them "this is just one reason why I left WF after 20 years of banking with WF, and you folks will NEVER get my business again."

I have a question for anyone with bank contacts. On screen shots of currencies at a bank that I have seen, there are only 16 trading currencies (those with buy and sell prices). Missing from the list are such currencies as the Kuwait Dinar, Brazilian Real, Saudi, South Korea, China. Some of these are supposed to be "hot" currencies, but no numbers on the list for being able to buy or sell them at the bank. What gets a currency listed with buy and sell numbers on the screen, can't be just an RV of the currency or there would be more on there I would think.

Maybe that particular bank doesn't deal in the currencies that do not have the buy/sell numbers beside them. Banks go through "Currency companies" to acquire currency when you order it. For instance, when I order VND through Bank of Oklahoma, they order it from a company called Intrust. Bank of Oklahoma does not sell Canadian Dollars, but my other two banks do. And all three of my banks buy currency from Intrust.
