1:1 Rate Inside Iraq

Per Generals64 post on Recaps this afternoon, he is saying that the dinar RV'd at 11:00 today in-country at 1:1. This is sorta true. What we really have here is the implementation of the de-dollarization process. This is the internal Iraqi dollar-to-dinar exchange rate all the so-called "guru's" and "newshounds" have been mistaking for an RV rate.

In other words, if you bring in a $1,000 US dollars to a bank, you will now get 1,000 dinars. These dinars will have much more buying power worldwide thanks to the pending revalue of the dinar internationally. If an Iraqi wanted to buy a plasma TV costing $1,000 US dollars pre-RV, it would cost him almost a million dinar. Now that same TV will cost him, say 250 dinar if the dinar RV's at a value of $4.00 to 1 dinar.

Where are you coming up with that info? None of my friends in Iraq will get 1000 dinar for $1k usd right now. There is NO change according to them in any markets. Please explain where you are hearing this?

As far as i can (math) this logicaly they should not have a in country RV or they should not allow any iraqi dinar to go out of the borders so that we will have a outside RV.

I am only reporting what I read on Dinar Recaps (you can go there and read it for yourself) and trying to explain it. If this post is true, Iraqi's will be able to exchange US DOLLARS for IRAQI DINARS at a rate of 1:1. Got $1,000 US DOLLARS? Now you can trade that for 1000 IRAQI DINARS.

Once the DINAR is RV'd of course, those new DINARS will have much bigger international buying power. Did I really screw up the explanation THAT much?

Yes, I read your post and saw you mentioned general64 and then you went on to explain it and the way you made it sound, it sounded like it was happening NOW. And seeing that he isnt on the list of people that is allowed to be posted here, I didnt understand what the purpose of it was since its unsubstantiated and just an opinion but it isnt based on anything happening right now. Thats why I was confused...... Sorry.....

Ok I am going crazy in here,,, If the USD is worth .83 for example and they want one to one over there It would be 1.17 IQD to 1 USD remember the Math table I brought here last week, Please don't make me look for it , But that is the math on 1 to 1 does every one see that...Cool not saying that that is the case. Look I have been having way to much fun on here but let me put my brain to work for you....there is so much going on right now that NO ONE can tell you anything that could be true for this right now. Sure China is ready , sure we need it as well. But the real answer is that Shabs is going to do what it takes for the IQD to come out and sustain itself Based on Key factors.

1.) Get as much off the streets as Possible.
I believe He has done that.
2.) Have all that has to be done up to the point that He is up to right now, Hcl. is in the Budget just has to be Implemented ,,Erbil is in the Budget and has to be implemented.. and who is to say if they are going to create a Platform to do just that,,allot of talk that it is going to happen at the National Conf. and some say that they might use the Arab Summit to do the same...NO ONE KNOWS!
3.) Sept. CBI says that by then they will have started the coexisting of the lowers and Higher IQD's....Doesn't mean that that is the Date for the RV..
4.) "O" would love for the RV. to be put off till election....
5.) PUT aside Pride and ego's Shabs going to make sure that the last ten years was not a waste for them, He will RV when he feels is the right time....
6.)They need to make sure that all Of the Central Banks are playing fair..that process is in the Hands Of the UN and other countries... who knows the time table on that or how Big of a deal it is or not..

What elles is there that is going on,,, Talk about it Plane and simple No Mirrors ...Don't want to talk about Rates and dates....To much really going on to Pinpoint it...and really no one knows,,,they have so much crap out there that everyone has a Different scoop on it...and no one has great Intel ,,None thought it would last this long..PERIOD... Right

I read a post in response to general's post above from someone in Iraq who said that he had absolutely no intention of trading his dinar at 1 to 1 for USD. He said until they make it official internationally he was not falling for that. What he said is that the CBI is trying to get the USDs back and exchange them for dinars telling the people that their dinars are now worth 1USD. Some of them are believing it some are not. The thing is if they do the exchange now at 1 to 1 this is what will happen. They go in and exchange their dollars 1 to 1 for dinars. There supposedly is no other option in country now so they can't buy them cheap like we still can. Once they have gathered in as many USD as possible they will release the exchange rate and their dinars will then be worth whatever the exchange rate is. So if they exchange 1000 USD for 1000 dinar when the dinar RVs they will have 1000 dinars still but they will be worth 3000 USD. That is the way I understood what is supposed to be going on, but as always, there is no proof that this is what is happening, so it is still just conjecture.
