just read cap1 post where it was put forth iraq budget of 100 billion usd or 117 billion dinar does this not convert to .85 usd,which we have heard as probable rate from some learned posters for some time. is this also not the approximate value of the usd. seems to me this is a one to one conversion.sounds very positve to me.would appreciate others input

The articles say 117 TRILLION dinar, not billion..... sorry.....

not saying its bad just that if correct it would indicate 1 to 1 status and that would be good sign of progress im with you on 85cents sandwedge,a fella could play a lot of golf on that

You read an article on the budget that says its 117billion? Or you meant you read what cap1 said and he said its billions? Every article I have found says Trillion dinar and Billion USD....

Budget boosted by billions 11/12/2011 14:1 ERBIL, Dec. 10 (AKnews) - According to Najeba Najeb a member of the financial committee in Iraqi parliament declared yesterday that Iraq’s budget for 2012 will be $100 billion USD (117,000 billion IQD).
Notice the 3 zeros after the 117.... that means its 117 trillion dinar..... sorry....
