Question: several gurus have said..

The gurus have been saying all day today and yesterday that Iraq must RV before the are released from Ch#7. Iraq was released from Ch#7 Trade Sanctions back in June/July. It makes sense they RV before being released from Ch#7, but I don't see anywhere that they "must" RV as part of their release. Please provide a link, news article or something besides a guru comment.

I'm not sure about having to RV'ed before Chapter 7 release, but as of today Iraq is still in Chapter 7.

Thanks 1Alaska. I am still having a hard time with people like Jonnywg, Tony at PTR, Eagle, and others making the statement that the RV MUST happen before being released from Ch#7. Iraq has been removed from Ch#7 Trade Sanctions for 6-months. They are obviously functioning in Trade with either USD or IQD. Country to country debts are being settled. Why do these gurus make these statements without proving what they say. I just want to see a link from somebody stating they must RV prior to being released from Ch#7. I looked thru the 5-year plan and I don't see it.

If Iraq does not need to be out of Chapter 7 to RV, they still have the issues of Erbill and the HCL, both of which are not done.

I have read several posts on various sites and I can honestly say, according to these posts, Iraq is and is NOT out of Chapter 7.
