The Turkish Statistics Authority announced that Iraq ranked fifth as the largest importer from Turkey during the past year 2021.

The authority said in a report seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "Turkey's exports during the past year 2021 amounted to 225 billion and 291 million dollars, registering an increase of 32.8 percent, compared to the same month of the year 2020, indicating that" Turkey's imports amounted to 271 billion and 424 million dollars. , an increase of 23.6 percent, compared to the same period in 2020.

She pointed out that "Iraq came fifth in Turkish exports to the countries of the world during the past year 2021, with a value of 11 billion and 133 million dollars, while Germany was the main partner country for exports with 19 billion and 321 million dollars, followed by the United States with 14 billion and 722 million dollars. dollars, the United Kingdom third with 13 billion and 704 million dollars, and Italy fourth with 11 billion and 475 million dollars, indicating that the proportion of the first five countries of the total exports amounted to 31.2% in 2021.

She explained that "Iraq came fourth in Turkish exports to the countries of the world during the month of December of 2021 with a value of one billion and 169 million dollars, while Germany was the main partner country for exports with a value of one billion and 781 million dollars, followed by the United States of America with one billion and 520 million dollars." And the United Kingdom with 336 billion dollars, indicating that the proportion of the first four countries of the total exports amounted to 32.2% in December 2021.
