Just found this forum.  I purchased the majority of my dinar in 2004 while working in Kuwait.  I work at the embassy in Baghdad and recently opened an IQD account at the Bank of Baghdad.  I still hold some currency in the US, but the majority is now just numbers in an account.  This will protect me in case the new government decides to change the currency.  I won't have to scramble to get the old currency exchanged, except the currency I hold in the US.
