The Supreme Committee for the Reconstruction of Mosul announced, on Thursday, the allocation of 73 billion dinars to implement three model entrances to the governorate.

"The Fund for Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations has allocated 100 billion dinars to rebuild the infrastructure in Nineveh, of which 73 billion dinars are for the establishment of 3 model entrances to the governorate," said the executive director of the committee, Abdul Qadir Dakhil.

Dakhil said, "One of these entrances will be from the Baghdad governorate side, the second from the Erbil and Dohuk governorates, and the third for Kirkuk and Tal Afar district."

He pointed out that "the roads leading to these entrances will be designed according to modern models, as they will include paths for heavy and normal loads, sonar devices, with gates and controls, as well as electronic screens."
