Mubasher: The Iraqi Council of Ministers issued 5 new decisions during its nineteenth regular session chaired by Mustafa Al-Kazemi, Prime Minister.

During the meeting, the Council of Ministers discussed the latest developments and general events in the country, as well as discussing the topics on the agenda, according to the statement of the Media Office of the President of the Council.

After the Council of Ministers discussed the topics on the agenda, it issued the following decisions:

First:

1- Approving the allocation of the Ministry of Finance (3) billion dinars, for the work of installing new pumping stations, with rehabilitation and maintenance of old stations in all governorates in the Ministry of Water Resources, from the emergency reserve for the fiscal year / 2021.

2- Approving the allocation of the Ministry of Finance (3) billion dinars for rehabilitation and lining works of Shatra and Al Kasr in Dhi Qar Governorate to the Ministry of Water Resources, from the emergency reserve for the fiscal year / 2021.

3- Approving the allocation of the Ministry of Finance (3) billion dinars for the work of raising mud and alluvial deposits from the dams of Diyala Governorate, to the Ministry of Water Resources, from the emergency reserve for the fiscal year 2021.

Second :

Approval of the exclusion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' contract with the Allianz Company from the controls No. (3) attached to the instructions for implementing government contracts (2 of 2014), due to the late arrival of the company's letter of guarantee after the bidding process. And the extent of its compliance with the law and the instructions in force.

Third:

Postponing the implementation of the Cabinet Resolution (157 of 2021), issued according to the letter of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers No. Book of the Ministry of Agriculture No. 972 dated April 28, 2021.

Fourthly:

Amending Cabinet Resolution (130 of 2021), paragraphs (third and sixth), according to the following:

The contract is for one calendar year, and wages are calculated on the basis of the academic year according to the financial allocations allocated in the budget to the free lecturers and administrators working in the Ministry of Education, and this decision shall be implemented as of January 1, 2021.

Fifthly:

Approval of the child protection bill, which was examined by the State Council, and referring it to the House of Representatives based on the provisions of Articles 61 / Clause First and 80 / Clause Second) of the Constitution, taking into consideration the remarks of the Legal Department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers confirmed according to its same memorandum The number (Md / S / 2/2/35 / 59LS) dated January 27, 2021.
