Given the success of the initiative of the Central Bank of Iraq to revitalize the housing sector and for the purpose of overcoming difficulties and removing obstacles that stand in the way of the (1) trillion dinars initiative, and to facilitate procedures for banks in the process of granting loans for the housing sector.

I obtained the approval of this bank to: -

1- The possibility of granting housing loans to banks that request this, provided that the statements and lists of the names of the borrowers are submitted within a period not exceeding two months from the date of granting, otherwise no financing is granted in the future until the bank provides us with what is required with the statements and lists of granting borrowers. With the imposition of a fine of (1%) and interest (5%) based on our Circular No. (2553/5/6) on 12/29/2020 regarding the unified controls of the (1) trillion dinars initiative to finance large, medium and small projects.

2- The financing period shall be within a maximum limit of (15) years or according to the customer's desire, provided that it is not less than (5) years as a minimum.

Is this instruction appropriate in all situations?

I agree that the term of a mortgage loan should always be within the maximum term. If you can pay off your mortgage on your home sooner than 15 years, that's better for you. I guess your instruction is helpful for people who don't know anything about credit at all. This instruction may be suitable only for people far away from financial matters. Right now, I'm more familiar with the subject of mortgages. But a few years ago, I turned to Mortgage Advisor Leicester because I didn't know what to do. Thanks to conversations with this professional and his advice, I know everything important to know for borrowers. I know my rights and responsibilities to the bank and the state.
