The Minister of Planning, Prof. Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najm, confirmed today, Monday, that the ministry, within the framework of preparing the state's general budget for 2021, has put in its priorities the work to address ongoing projects throughout Iraq.

During his attendance at the Ministerial Council for Economic Affairs meeting, he added that the mechanisms of addressing the reality of these projects will be through setting priorities commensurate with the nature of the project, the percentage of achievement and its economic and service feasibility, as well as giving special attention to strategic projects such as the Faw Port project and the suspended train project, when These projects are of far-reaching economic and developmental importance.
