Baghdad / NINA / Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar discussed with the President of the French company Total, the Iraq branch, Stephanie Michael, to enhance joint cooperation in the field of energy and gas investment.

A statement by the Ministry of Oil said today that the minister received the head of the French company Total, the Iraq branch, accompanied by the head of the natural gas department in the company, "Laurent".

The minister affirmed Iraq’s keenness to develop gas investment projects and develop gas fields through cooperation with sober international companies.

For his part, the head of the company’s branch in Iraq expressed his hope to expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation by participating in investment projects to develop the oil and energy sector.
