Hawrami announces the suspension of 16 thousand and 505 salaries

The Supreme Committee for Biometric decided during its meeting, Tuesday, under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, to stop 16 thousand and 505 illegal salaries this month.

The Media Secretary of Deputy Prime Minister Samir Hawrami said in a statement to the National Union website and followed by Alsumaria News, that according to biometric information and statistics, (106,839) people receive more than one salary and a grant, most of them were regulated by law, in addition to 16,505 people who have illegal double salaries according to the second paragraph From Article (3) of the Reform Law, these are considered illegal, and they are as follows:

- (1138) persons were registered twice as employees, which means that they have two salaries.

- (3891) persons were registered as employees and retirees, which means that they have an employee and a retired salary.

- (5734) people were registered twice in the retirement pensions, which means that they have two pensions for retirement.

- (5742) persons were registered twice at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, which means that they have two scholarships in the ministry.

Hawrami added, "It was decided during the meeting to stop the salaries of 16 thousand and 505 illegal employees during the current month."
