Iraq is discussing with the "United Nations Development" to restore stability in liberated areas

 The Secretary-General of the Iraqi Council of Ministers, Hamid Al-Ghazi, discussed with the representative of the resident of the United Nations Development Program in Iraq, Zeina Ali Ahmed, the priorities of restoring stability in the liberated areas.

Al-Ghazi said - according to the Iraqi National Agency Nina today, Monday, that "the Iraqi government decided to extend the work of the United Nations program for the period from 2021 to 2023 after the success of its work since 2015, which came with the efforts of the Iraqi government and its success in returning more than four million and 700 thousand displaced persons." We hope that before the extension period expires, the displaced persons file will end.
 
For her part, the representative of the Development Program confirmed that the program has allocated more than one billion dollars with the support of the international community and implemented 2,500 projects in 31 regions that have contributed to strengthening cooperation with the Iraqi government and supporting efforts to restore normal life to the liberated areas.
