Fifth Third Bank

Just a little tid bit. I just called Fifth Third Bank in Nashville, Tennessee and ask if they were still selling Iraqi Dinar. I know a man that bought a lot a few years ago from them. The lady told me that they were no longer selling them as investment, but now only selling to people traveling to Iraq. I ask if they would be cashing out and she said yes at the value at that time and, if I were not an account holder there, I could cash out $2,000 a day.

Thank you Panamabev, I also live in music city and My 5th 3rd manager was saying last week they were not. Maybe things are changing.

I highly doubt Fifth Third will limit cash-in to $2K per day post RV. Remember, all banks are required to maintain minimum cash reserves and the new account creation and cash-in is required for them to succeed.

Globalbiz They can pretty much restrict anything they want with non account hoders. Re-read the post!!! Though, I do not understand why someone wouldn't be an account holder at the bank they choose to cash out at, to each their own.

My fifth third bank in Rockford Illinois stated to me the same thing when I bought dinar there, non customers would only to cash out 2000.00 per day. That was told directly to me. No second person.

In taveling thru Canada one bank had a limit of $250 per day, another $500 per on USD to CAD exchange, So the $2,000 sounds possible and probable.
But They might allow you to exhange more than the limit IF you are depositing into a account with that bank, not just taking cash out.

Even though we should all take these bank stories with a grain of salt as others have stated, panamabev, to me, is a more reliable source than most of these "gurus".

hey bjoybrandt..having an account at the bank of choice for cash-in was assumed, as I can't understand why one would not have an account at the bank chosen for cash-in either.

well..there ya go..now we have the reason for a limit of daily cash. My experience is that given notice, banks can provide you any reasonable cash request. I have withdrawn upwards of $30,000 before without but a few days notice.
