[rtl]The World Bank's Vice President and Regional Director for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Issam Abu Sulaiman, on Tuesday identified the "most serious challenge" facing the Middle East.[/rtl]
[rtl] Abu Sulaiman made the remarks during his participation in the Future Investment Initiative 2019 in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, from 29 to 31 October.[/rtl]
[rtl]"This conference began three years ago to open the door for Arab and non-Arab investors and the region in general, and the areas in which the region wants to invest," the World Bank's vice president said.[/rtl]
[rtl]He continued: "We encourage the World Bank, these conferences and set up, the World Bank with all the problems in the Middle East there are many areas of investment in the Middle East."[/rtl]
[rtl]"The political problems in the region increase the risk of investment. The less these political tensions, the better for investors."[/rtl]
[rtl]“Economic challenges are always present not only in the Arab region, but in the whole world,” said Abu Suleiman.[/rtl]
[rtl]The World Bank's vice president identified the most serious challenge for the World Bank, apart from political challenges, to challenge human capital.[/rtl]
[rtl]“The challenge of human capital is the most dangerous, because we want to prepare future generations for what is to come.[/rtl]
[rtl]He continued: "The Middle East is suffering from problems in human capital, we find that it[/rtl]
