The Department of Preparation and Follow-up of Development Plans in the Department of Economic Policies of the Ministry of Planning organized a workshop on the government program 2018-2022, in the presence of the Director General of the Department of Economic Policies, Dr. Alaa El-Din Jaafar, as well as a number of members of the organs and departments of the Ministry.

The Director General of the Department of Economic Policies, Dr. Alaeddin said that this workshop comes as part of the work plan of the Department of Economic and Financial Policies for 2019.

He added that based on the government program workshop held by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers / Department of Government Coordination and Citizens Affairs on July 17th, In order to complete the requirements of the government program (2018-2022) we held this workshop and pointed out that the seminar included an introduction to the government program in general, and to address the requirements of the preparation of the ministerial curriculum (2018-2022) and the basic documents in its preparation, in addition to focusing on the axes that work on them The Ministry of Planning represented by the two axes (Axis V / Services and Human and Community Development) and (Axis II / Rule of Law and Law and Strengthening Internal and External Security - Combating Corruption and Public Waste) which belong to the Ministry, as well as explaining the timelines of the project lifetime (short, medium and long), He pointed out that the workshop also included a review of the new form of weighting for the procedures approved for the completion of activities and projects by the concerned departments with the relative weight specified for each procedure and until the end of the project, each according to the field of work General Assembly of the Council of Ministers and the inclusion of the names of the procedures carried out during the life of the project and give relative weights for each of the procedures that have been implemented and determine the date of commencement of this procedure as well as the date of completion of this procedure Illustrations for any project during the period of completion if any.

For her part, Director of the Public Policy Division of the Economic Policies Department of the Ministry of Planning, Ms. Hana Salah Ahmed, said during a presentation on the government program 2018-2022:
