Economy News - Baghdad:

Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) sold 2 million barrels of Basrah Light crude for loading in September to Unipec at a premium of $ 1.26 a barrel above the official selling price, traders said on Thursday.

Somo sold 2 million barrels of Basra heavy crude for loading in September to Petro Diamond at a premium of more than $ 1.60 a barrel above the official selling price, traders said.
Prior to this, SOMO sold 2 million barrels of Basra Light for loading in August to Shell at a premium of just over $ 1 a barrel above the official selling price and 1 million barrels of Basra Heavy for loading in August to Petro Diamond at a premium of close to $ 2 a barrel for the official sale price.
