The Foreign Relations Committee, represented by MP Mokhtar al-Moussawi, Chairman of the Iraqi-Australian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, received on Thursday 1/8/2019 Australian Ambassador Juan Lundez to discuss the development of relations between the two countries.

During the meeting held at the headquarters of the Committee, emphasis was placed on developing cooperation in various fields, especially military, industrial, agricultural and commercial, and all that serves the interests of the Iraqi people.
The meeting also discussed the importance of developing parliamentary relations, exchanging visits between officials of both countries and implementing water resources projects in Iraq.
