Abdelmahdi: orders arrest of 11 ministers on corruption charges

Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Tuesday issued arrest warrants for 11 ministers.
"There are arrest warrants issued against 11 ministers and those of their rank," Abdul Mahdi said during the weekly press conference. "The Anti-Corruption Council has strengthened its measures to combat the corruption file and work hard to prosecute the spoilers."
He added that "the government will remember the names of the accused if the investigation proved corruption."
