The Council of Representatives intends to dissolve Jamis of the provincial councils after the vote on the dissolution of Nineveh Provincial Council.

A parliamentary source told the "news" that "there is a parliamentary tendency to resolve all the provincial councils during the coming sessions, being expired," noting that "the parliament is determined to dissolve the councils."

The source said that "several political blocs, will not vote on the solution of the Nineveh Provincial Council because of their fears to resolve the other provincial councils," noting that "there are more than 160 signatures to resolve the Nineveh Council."
