Oil Minister: The region has not yet delivered what was approved by the budget of 2019

Oil Minister Thamer Ghadhban said on Thursday that the Kurdistan Regional Government has not yet handed over what was approved in the budget in 2019 

Ghadhban said in a press conference attended by Alsumaria News, "The provincial government has not yet handed over what was approved in the budget in 2019, And the judge to hand over 250 thousand barrels per day to the Iraqi oil marketing company Sumo, so that the latter will sell and direct revenues to the federal budget. 

"We are committed to the law and there is nothing to negotiate with them, but we will abide by the law and what has been said," Ghadhban said.




The deputy of the coalition of victory Huda Sajad on April 23, 2019 has announced its intention to file a lawsuit against the Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and Finance Minister Fouad Hussein on the file payment of funds to the Kurdistan region without paying the region any dues from its oil exports to Baghdad. 

The budget of 2019 that the Kurdistan region in the financial budget for 2019 amounted to 12.67%, indicating that the Kurdistan Government will commit to pay 250 thousand barrels of oil per day against the share of the region.
