Al-Kaabi stresses the need to restore confidence in banking institutions in general

The first deputy speaker of parliament, Hassan al-Kaabi, on Monday stressed the need to restore confidence in banking institutions in general, calling for greater facilities to grant advances and loans.

The statement added that "a number of banking issues and events were discussed with the citizen and the state in general, and the plans adopted to develop the potential of the banking sector, as well as talk about the subject of settling salaries."
The statement continued that "Al-Kaabi stressed the great role played by the banking sector in achieving economic and social development of the country, and its active contribution in financing the various strategic and investment activities needed by Iraq," stressing at the same time on "the need to work to restore confidence in banking institutions in general, Financing small projects for citizens because of the importance of investment and development of large, in addition to the importance of cooperation with commercial and economic banks to the benefit of the people and the bank and the state.
