Economy News Baghdad:  


increased Iraqi oil production to 4.575 million barrels per day earlier this year, Iraq and looks forward to the arrival of its production to more than 7 million barrels in the coming years. 
Iraq ranks second in OPEC's oil production after Saudi Arabia, which has more than 10 million bpd. 
OPEC countries have agreed to cut oil production to positively influence oil prices amid pressure from US President Trump to pressure OPEC to cut oil prices. 
"The Iraqi oil production reached 4.575 million barrels per day in January, of which 3.649 million barrels are exported and the rest goes to domestic consumption," a source at the Oil Ministry said in an interview with The Economist News. 
He added that "the export rate of the Kurdistan region is 431 thousand barrels per day."
