The Union of Arab Securities Commissions, in cooperation with Jordan Securities Commission (JSC), will hold the 2nd Arab Capital Markets Conference on "Enhancing Transparency and Financial Innovation" next March.
The conference will discuss a number of key themes related to Arab and international capital markets, including strategic growth and development, challenges facing Arab financial markets, innovation and innovation opportunities, enhanced disclosure, transparency and investor protection, and the impact of electronic infrastructure on Arab capital markets. , Islamic finance and other topics.
The speakers include a number of government officials, policy makers, economic and financial decision makers, leaders of Arab, regional and international financial institutions, a group of financial experts and analysts, as well as representatives of Arab and international regulatory bodies and financial markets.
It is expected that the number of participants in the conference to about 300 participants from investors and interested in capital markets in various countries, including the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the OECD and IIF and BlackRock.
The conference will be held in conjunction with the 13th annual meeting of the Union of Arab Securities Commissions at its thirteenth session, under which the Presidency of the Union will be transferred from the present President of the Lebanese Securities Commission and Governor of the Banque du Liban Riad Salameh to Chairman of the Jordan Securities Commission Mohammed Saleh Al Hourani.
