The reformist MP Mohammad al-Khalidi said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi did not implement his government program, while accusing him of disrupting the work of parliament.
"Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi has not implemented one percent of his government program," Khalidi said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
Khalidi said that "Abdul Mahdi is the reason for the disruption of the Iraqi Council of Representatives."
The government program presented by Abdulmahdi to parliament last year specifies three time periods for implementing the government program.
In the 120-page program, the time allotted to each element of the curriculum ranges from "fast" to "3 to 6 months", "average" and "7 to 18 months" and "long" from 19 to 48 months Or more.
He added: "At the first session of the new cabinet, ministries will be asked to study their data quickly, accurately and deeply, to define time horizons more accurately and to commit to fulfilling them; to be placed within a detailed ministerial program based on this platform, with a framework to monitor progress, On a regular basis. "
"The points presented in the current curriculum reflect quick references to the ministry's curriculum and philosophy to gain the confidence of the parliament," he said. "We hope that the government will present a detailed program consistent with this ministerial approach." Which is prepared by the various ministries during the first 100 days, and is committed to its application and shall be held accountable during the ministerial period. "
