The Norwegian government pension fund, the sovereign wealth funds around the world after the value of assets to $ 1074.6 billion.

The updated data showed Foundation SWF Institute specialized in the study of sovereign governments and investment funds, in its latest report for themonth of February, the Saudi Public Investment Fund maintained its position within the tenth largest sovereign funds in the world with assets stood at $ 360 billion.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has said the fund aims to raise its assets by 2020 to nearly $ 600 billion.

The Saudi Arabian Monetary Fund (SAMA) has maintained its sixth position in the world's largest sovereign wealth fund with assets of $ 515.6 billion.

According to data, the Norwegian government pension fund ranked first as the world's largest sovereign fund, with assets rising by $ 16.6 billion to $ 1,074.6 billion.

China Investment Company came second with assets of $ 941.4 billion and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) maintained its third position after its assets rose by $ 14 billion to $ 697 billion.

Dubai Investment Corporation (DIC) came in 13th place with assets worth $ 233.8 billion.

Saudi Arabia accounted for 10.8 percent of the world's total sovereign wealth, equivalent to 875.6 billion dollars, while the UAE accounted for 14.6 percent of the world's sovereign wealth, equivalent to 1190.8 billion dollars, according to the report.
