Baghdad:
The President of the Republic Barham Saleh stressed on Monday the importance of active participation of Korean companies and businessmen to invest in the sectors of construction, energy, industry, reconstruction and construction of liberated cities and other areas.
"Saleh received on Monday at the Peace Palace in Baghdad special presidential envoy Han Pyeong-do and the delegation accompanying him," the press office of the president said in a statement received by the news.
"The President of the Republic hailed the development of bilateral relations and the steady growth of the two countries," the statement said, stressing the importance of "active participation of Korean businesses and businessmen to invest in the construction, energy and industrial sectors, reconstruction and construction of liberated cities and other areas."
For his part, Pyeong-do reiterated his country's support for Iraq and its earnest desire to enhance relations between the two countries, expressing South Korea's willingness to contribute to the movement of construction and reconstruction at various levels to promote Iraq's prosperity and prosperity.

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The
leader of the al-Hakamah movement, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed on Tuesday the need to "attend" South Korea in the Iraqi economy and health sectors, praising the role it played in Iraq.
"Iraq is registering for Korea's presence in the economic and health sector, despite the security conditions that Iraq experienced in the previous stage," Hakim said in a statement received after a meeting with the Special Envoy of South Korean President Huang Mu and his accompanying medical delegation.
"The Korean delegation's visit came at the right time, as the possibility of Iraq going into economic partnerships with South Korea is more than ever," he said.
He pointed out that "the nature of the changes witnessed by Iraq, where victories achieved in the military, national and community and political alliances that left the narrow headings towards the national address of all the combined sects, races and sects."
Al-Hakim praised "the humanitarian positions presented by South Korea as well as its contribution to the fight against terrorism and security cooperation."
He noted that "the similarity of the experiences of Iraq and Korea in terms of challenges and suffering despite the geographical dimension and then the launch of Korea to development and renaissance."
He pointed out that "Iraq is taking positive with the Korean companies and products and the positive in economic cooperation with Korea that it has no political agenda."
