"The Iraqi government has not fulfilled its promises to hand over the voluntary returnees voluntarily, as well as compensation for those affected and the rehabilitation of their areas liberated by the basic services, and the distribution of aid to those who returned voluntarily, which caused the reverse migration to The camps are back.

Al-Shammari said in a press statement that "the Iraqi government is not serious about voluntarily returning displaced people to their liberated areas and has not paid attention to humanitarian appeals that reflect the severity of the conditions they are living in." International and local humanitarian organizations have a prominent role in encouraging IDPs to stay in camps , Because of the interruption of aid from them upon registration to return to their original homes.

Al-Shammari called on international and local humanitarian organizations to continue their humanitarian programs for returnees, as they are in desperate need of humanitarian assistance and rehabilitation to encourage voluntary return and close the file of displaced persons.

The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights called on the Iraqi government to "fulfill its promises and respond to their humanitarian appeals by speeding up the rehabilitation of liberated areas, compensating the affected people and voluntarily handing over the amounts allocated to them and essential and essential items."
