The Kurdistan Regional Government allocated for the year 2019 trillion and 600 billion dinars for investment projects, more than half of this amount to complete projects that stopped work, according to an official in the Ministry of Planning.[/ltr]

[ltr]Rizkar Fattah, director general of the Ministry of Planning of the provincial government, said that of the total budget was allocated trillion dinars for new projects and trillion and 600 billion dinars for incomplete projects.
On the number of projects, Fattah explained that this amount will be disbursed in this year will be for three thousand projects in all governorates of the Kurdistan region, including Halabja province.
This comes at a time when thousands of projects in the Kurdistan region have been stopped over the past few years because of the financial crisis and cut the share of Kurds in the public budget by the federal government.[/ltr]
