Foreign Minister stresses Iraq's interest in relations with NATO and the need to develop them

BAGHDAD / Tomorrow Press: 

Foreign Minister Mohammad al - Hakim, on Sunday, the attention of Iraq 's relations with NATO and the need to develop. 

His office said in a statement received "Tomorrow 's Press" copy of it, "Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali al - Hakim met with Secretary - General for Operations Assistant NATO John Menza NATO, at the ministry 's headquarters in Baghdad. During the meeting , they reviewed the work of the mission in Iraq and cooperate with them by the relevant parties "He said.

"Iraq's interest in relations with NATO and the need to develop common relations, welcomed the start of the training mission in Iraq recently." 

He noted that "Iraq's readiness to provide the necessary facilities for its work to the importance of raising the level of Iraqi forces," praising "the important role and vital role played by NATO in support of Iraq in the face of terrorism during the last period with the International Alliance." 

He also thanked the Iraqi Foreign Ministry for its assistance in carrying out the tasks of the mission and its hope for further development and prosperity in the security and military fields, with the full support of Iraq and its government by its NATO friends to ensure the unity, security and sovereignty of Iraq and the path of democratic transformation.
