WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump feels defeated and recognizes the strength and capability of the Islamic Resistance after unveiling his plans and monitoring the movements of his troops, according to political expert Abbas al-Aredawi on Friday, pointing out that Trump went to the truce to seek a loophole to enter Iraq again.
"The United States feels defeated after its loss in Syria and before it in Iraq and its president Trump surprises with the reaction of Iraq at the political and security levels related to the Islamic resistance which has shown its rejection of the American presence in Iraq," al-Aredawi said in a statement.
"After Trump's visit to Al-Assad base in Al-Anbar, everyone in Iraq expressed his rejection of the US military presence, which sent a message to Trump that Iraq would not be a safe environment for US forces," he said.
He explained that "America's plan failed to enter Iraq, especially after the monitoring of its mechanisms in the Iraqi territory, heading towards the base of Ain al-Assad coming from Kuwait, and therefore Trump will search for alternatives to the presence of its forces in Iraq, one calm and not enter into depth, Political problems inside Iraq, and may constitute a new terrorist organization brings him into Iraq.
