The head of the Fatah alliance Hadi al-Amiri said on Tuesday that Iraq does not want to be a party to the conflict between any two countries, calling on the European Union countries to participate in the reconstruction of Iraq.
Al-Amiri's office said in a statement received by Alsumaria News that the latter "received, today, in his official office in Baghdad in the presence of a number of members of the Construction Coalition, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament David McAllister and the accompanying delegation," adding that " Between Iraq and the countries of the Union to serve the common interests. "
The statement said Amiri stressed the need to "strengthen relations with the EU countries and all the countries of the world" and called on EU countries to "participate in the reconstruction and assistance of Iraq, especially since it fought a war on behalf of the world."
