Disruption of official two-day work in Iraqi Kurdistan

The Government of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq decided to disrupt the official hours in the government departments and institutions on the anniversary of the birth of Christ Jesus son of Mary.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in the provincial government, Ismail said in a statement circulated to the media that Tuesday, 25/12/2018 an official holiday on the birth of Jesus Christ.

He added that according to the annual schedule of holidays, New Year's Day is also an official holiday. link
