Foreign Ministry reveals the conditions that must be provided to grant visas to businessmen in Iraq






The 

head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sondos Omar Ali, on Wednesday revealed the conditions that must be provided to grant visas to businessmen. 

"There is a decision to facilitate visa procedures for foreign investors from the European Union, the United States, South Korea, China and Japan within 72 hours, if conditions are met, they can be granted entry visas to Iraq," Ali told Al-Gharab Press.



"The conditions that must be granted to grant visas are to be a businessman and have a company and a letter of support from a person working in Iraq," she said, adding that "the order is now issued only to investors and businessmen." 

She stressed that "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs working to overcome the obstacles," indicating that "the National Investment Commission has the powers to facilitate the entry of investors in Iraq and the new government is working to attract investors to Iraq." 

"The visit of 50 large US companies is a first-time event in Iraq and a positive step to create jobs for young people," she said.
