Assistant Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers discusses with the concerned authorities the observations contained in the reports of the Federal Audit Bureau 2018-12-04-1

The committee formed under the Diwani Order (82) for the year 2017 held its sixth meeting under the chairmanship of the Assistant Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mr. Rahman Issa Hassan and the attendance of the Director General of Audit and Oversight Department at the General Secretariat Mr. Riyad Fadel Mohammed, the Director General of the Audit and Follow- Internal Audit and Oversight Department in the Prime Minister's Office, in addition to a specialized expert from the Office of Financial Supervision.

The meeting discussed the comments contained in the reports of the Federal Audit Bureau, and the proposal of the chairman of the committee to choose one of the ministries as a model for holding a meeting to discuss the remarks noted by the Bureau of Financial Supervision, which includes representatives of that ministry and the team of the bureau in the sector.

Coordination and cooperation between the audit and control departments in the Prime Minister's Office and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers on directives and circulars issued concerning the work of internal control in ministries and entities not affiliated with the Ministry.

The meeting concluded with the selection of the Martyrs Foundation as a model for holding a meeting on the comments raised by the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau regarding its activities to discuss these observations and work on their liquidation during the next meeting, attended by the President of the Foundation and the Director General of the Audit Department of Central Governance in the Office of Financial Supervision and the activation of coordination and cooperation between my departments Audit and oversight in the Office of the Prime Minister and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers on the directives and circulars issued by the two departments, relating to the organization of the audit work of the internal control bodies in ministries and entities not affiliated with the Ministry.
