Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Sunday stressed the need to strengthen the status and privileges of the Iraqi passport in cooperation between all concerned.
"The National Security Council held today its meeting under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Adel Abdul Mahdi," the office of Abdul Mahdi said in a statement. "The council discussed the issues on the agenda, The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs to regulate the duties of the Directorate of personal protections and establish clear controls for its work to achieve the desired objectives and according to the necessary needs, and issued the necessary resolution.
He added that "Abdul-Mahdi briefed during the meeting on a detailed explanation of the system of the project to grant the features of electronic access trial in accordance with international standards and to achieve consistency, speed and security and facilitate procedures."
"The national effort to develop the visa facilitation project" is aimed at "expanding it in the future," he said during the statement.
Abdul Mahdi stressed the need to enhance the status and privileges of the Iraqi passport in cooperation between all concerned parties.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister reviewed a detailed explanation of the system of the project to grant the electronic electronic access features in accordance with international standards and to achieve consistency, speed, safety and procedures.
And blessed the national effort in the field of preparing the project to facilitate the granting of visas, directed to work to expand in the future, pointing at the same time to the need to strengthen the status and privileges of the Iraqi passport in cooperation between all parties concerned.
