Minister of Communications Naim al-Rubaie on Thursday called on investors in the telecommunications sector to submit a fourth-generation mobile license, while inviting investors in Arab countries to contribute to Iraqi investments to develop the Iraqi postal sector.

Rubaie said in a speech during the 22nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Communications and Information in Egypt that "the Ministry of Communications is about to enter into strategic partnership contracts to take advantage of the potential of the Iraqi Ministry of Communications."

He also called on investors in the Arab countries to contribute to Iraqi investments to develop the Iraqi postal sector.

The minister also called on "Arab governments, companies and the private sector to reconstruct the liberated areas of the terrorist organization and stand with Iraq to face the great challenges it faces." (End)
