Friday, October 26,

BAGHDAD ( Reuters) - The
capital Baghdad on Friday was hit by a dust storm that led to poor visibility, while a number of asthma sufferers were suffocated and taken to the hospital.

The correspondent of Alsumaria News, said that the atmosphere of the capital Baghdad witnessed, this evening, a severe dust storm led to a weakening vision within the city.

He added that the hospitals received a number of cases of suffocation, especially among people with asthma and shortness of breath.

It is noteworthy that Iraq has been suffering for years from dust storms blowing from the south and south-west of the Arabian Peninsula , causing a lot of suffocation to citizens, especially people with allergies and asthma, prompting some provinces to resort to the establishment of a green belt around the provinces, to prevent or reduce the entry of dust to her.
