The Central Bank of Iraq's foreign currency sales fell Tuesday to $ 93.75 million, compared to sales of $ 121.94 million on Monday, at $ 28.19 million.
The Central Bank said in a statement read by "Economy News" that "the exchange rate amounted to 1190 dinars per dollar, at the auction held with the participation of 26 banks, and one company only for financial transfer."
"These sales are the results of an auction on Wednesday, indicating that total sales totaled $ 129.75 million."
Amounts sold to strengthen bank balances abroad amounted to $ 92.75 million, while total cash sold was estimated at $ 37 million.
The central, in the statement, that "the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price."
