Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on Monday that the cabinet approved a package of decisions for 11 provinces.

"The cabinet approved a package of decisions for 11 provinces to set up projects and provide services," Abbadi said at the weekly conference.

"The Council of Ministers today approved the allocation of functional grades for the movement of owners."

"We have to sit down with neighboring countries to solve the water problem," Abadi said.

The spark of demonstrations in Iraq from the province of southern Basra more than a month ago, in protest against the lack of services and employment opportunities, killing and wounding hundreds after clashes with security forces.

After the protests in Basra, demonstrations took place in the provinces of central and southern Iraq, in addition to the capital Baghdad, where these provinces are constantly moving.

Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi promised to implement the protesters' demands after the Shiite cleric in Najaf supported the protests.
