The Ministry of Commerce announced on Sunday its contract with "national companies" to strengthen ration items for three months of sugar and oil, while contracted with the Iraqi-Vietnamese company to buy 60 thousand tons of Vietnamese rice.

The ministry pointed out that "the food company called agents in Baghdad and the provinces to receive the prescribed quotas of the articles, in addition to inviting citizens to review agents to receive their shares from them."

On the other hand, the ministry pointed to "its contract with the Iraqi-Vietnamese company to buy 60 thousand tons of Vietnamese rice, and 100 thousand tons of Australian wheat during the past two days to secure these items within the ration items."
