Demonstrators demanding money deposited in Warka Bank 8 years ago
Demonstrators demanding money deposited in Warka Bank 8 years ago
Editor Ammar Tariq - Monday 25 June
Alsumaria News / Baghdad
Dozens of citizens demonstrated, Monday, to demand the Warka Bank funds deposited with him eight years ago.
A reporter for Alsumaria News that dozens of citizens demonstrated this morning in front of the gate of the Central Bank of Iraq in the Rashid Street in central Baghdad, to claim their money deposited in the bank Warka.
He added that the demonstrators confirmed that their money has been deposited in the bank for 8 years, pointing out that they appealed to Prime Minister Haider Abadi to intervene personally after their inability to appeal to the Central Bank and to make false promises to pay their money.
This is the sixth demonstration of its kind, in which depositors have demanded their money at the Warka Bank for years to spend their money.
The Central Bank of Iraq has directed, earlier, an ultimatum to liquidate the Warka Bank for investment and finance unless the payment of 200 billion Iraqi dinars.

Hmmmm ok.
The good new is, I have literally doubled my deposit in interest over the past 7 years. Now, if I could just get it out...
