ftti..(For those that are interested) .. Regardless, After... the new, President of the Republic is named by the new parliament... The representative of the bloc with the largest numbers is named by the new President of the Republic to form the new Cabinet....

In brief: Whether, Abadi achieved a sweeping majority of votes, or not... Other (blocs) (Sadr, Hakim, Kurds, Allawi and/ or others) will certainly ally with Abadi to form the largest bloc... to thwart Maliki and or Amiri from obtaining the PM position...

Also, keep in mind, Sistani... once again, indirectly stated his disapproval of Maliki.. as did, many Western countries and those in the region... But, we can expect him (Maliki) to contest as he had in the past, only to be forced to step aside..

Walkingstick, Sir, how does this work over there? If he (Maliki) runs for PM and loses is he out completely, or does he get a Presidency as a consolation prize? Seems if I remember right, he has to at least Presidential level to avoid arrest. Isn't that right?

No, not guaranteed... any position.. But, he could receive an executive position through negotiations... At, the very least... He could, remove a member of his own list... forcing his way into a position as a member of parliament ... where, he could/would retain immunity

Results of voting for the official figures: Victory in the first place

BAGHDAD - Masdar revealed on Saturday (May 12th, 2018) the results of the vote on the official figures, which took place in the Rashid Hotel inside the Green Zone in central Baghdad .

The source said in a press statement that "the number of votes obtained by the victory coalition, headed by Haider al-Abbadi, the current prime minister, reached 111 votes, ranked first, while the coalition of state law, headed by Nuri al-Maliki, the former prime minister, 64 Votes in second place."

He added that "the alliance led by Hadi al-Ameri, secretary general of the Badr Organization, got 49 votes in third place, while the National Coalition, headed by Iyad Allawi, Vice President of the Republic, 32 votes, in fourth place."

Frank has studied what happened with Kuwait from ’91 – ’99. Frank didn’t know he could buy the Kuwaiti dinar. He thought it was illegal to buy it. The only reason some had it was because they were businessman or soldiers over there who found out about it. Frank says we didn’t have the right to buy it.

Frank you say the three zeros have been lifted. Yes. Then why don’t we see the RV. It’s because the AoP are not pleased with what they are seeing in the GOI. That’s why now that the GOI has been requested of CBI; give me the report I requested to approve the lifting of the three zeros. Are we in harmony? Are we in coordination? Are you going to do what that report says? You’re not going to overspend; you’re not going to steal from the budget. You’re not going to ask for more. You’re not going to use other currencies and on and on.

We’ve seen the budget but we haven’t seen the rate released that is in the budget. The AoP is no longer pleased with their Parliament. They are not under the rule of the British monarchy. They can become a democracy.

Guru Delta: Whatever happens next, NO ONE CAN WAIT ANYMORE…..remember the Security Council hasn’t been seen yet. That report has to give the Sec. C. to show them we are internationally recognized, including the currency. That’s why the CBI said we have everything and we’re set to go. Nothing will happen on Friday – watch Sunday.

Guru Frank26: You and I know the rate has been released and in the hands of the CBI…but in the last 24 hours, I’ve come to an opinion that the RI-RV has also been activated…not released…but activated….not cashing out behind closed doors. There were roads that were opened up by Maliki saying he is the PM and he is the Commander of Chief….you can’t do that unless you have authority — the coalition force who put those up.

"They're going to pull in the large notes and introduce new lower denoms!" Obviously they didn't introduce two zero notes. Instead they demonetized the 50 and introduced the 50K note. Frank was full of it back then and he's full of it today.
